NSU presents the program as Florida Board-approved initial and recertification education; completing the course does not itself issue a Florida consultant-pharmacist license, and initial candidates must complete the state application process.

- The published curriculum includes Florida consultant-pharmacy law, drug-regimen-review procedures, documentation, communication, facility review, nursing-home and assisted-living practice, and medication therapy management.
- Initial candidates complete a 20-hour experience: five hours of pre-course work, eight live hours on Saturday, seven live hours on Sunday, and an online exam.
- Current Florida consultants can use the live program toward recertification, subject to NSU's participation, evaluation, reporting, and renewal-cycle rules.

What earlier coverage suggests
No credible independent attendee review or published evaluation of a prior edition was found. NSU's archived 2025 course page confirms that the format has a predecessor, but it cannot establish teaching quality, exam preparation, learner experience, or the value of the September 2026 program.
That absence is not evidence that the event is poor or well regarded. It means the current agenda and registration terms should carry more weight than reputation claims.

What to confirm before you book
- Initial candidates must complete the pre-course work, attend both live days, score at least 70% on the exam, and complete the evaluations. NSU then directs successful candidates to apply to the Florida Board of Pharmacy and address the state's fingerprinting requirement.
- NSU lists fees of $375 for the initial course, $210 for two-day recertification, $115 for one-day recertification, and $189 for general CE. Refund requests are due before September 18 and carry a $10 deduction.
- NSU says consultants and general-CE participants can earn up to 14 hours through the live program. It also warns licensed consultants not to repeat the program within the January 2025–December 2026 renewal period because duplicate credit will not be given.
